Use

• The mosquito trap Protecta East 100% ecological
• does not require no chemicals, no electricity and has no odor.
• Attracted by the water in the container, the first mosquitoes enter the trap and are trapped by the sticky ring. They do not die immediately but their capture causes them to produce pheromones that will attract other mosquitoes in the area who will also find themselves trapped.
• When the ring is saturated with insects or if the mosquito lands directly on the mesh in contact with water, it may lay eggs through the mesh. But the mosquito larvae will never be able to mature and will quickly die, trapped by the mesh.
• Note that the trap requires a few days in position in the area to be protected before fully functioning.

Method of application:
• Fill the tank with 600 ml of water.
• Take the mesh float, white side down, and place the sticky plastic ring on top, on the black part, sticky side up.
• Place the float in the tank with the white side down, against the water.
• Place the funnel in the tank, narrow part downwards, then screw the lid onto the top of the tank.
• Place the trap in the areas to be protected and especially wetlands

Trap Maintenance

• When the sticky ring becomes saturated with insects or dust, it can be replaced.
• The mesh can be cleaned with water.
• Remember to monitor the water level regularly
