Usage

• For preventive control which helps avoid invasions of crawling insect pests such as:
• Ants - carrying aphids and thus energizing colonies.
• Aphids - contributing directly to the general weakening of the infested tree.
• Forficules affecting stone fruits at the end of ripening.
• Defoliating caterpillars and other crawling insects feeding on young stems/leaves.

1. First wrap the moss around the trunk (at least 40 cm from the ground), tighten, secure with two pins and cut off the excess.
2. Then carry out the same operation with the green mesh, avoiding the overlap being done in the same place.
3. Once put in place, the collar is ready to be glued. Apply two beads of glue to create a better barrier against ants.
4. .At the point where the foam strip overlaps, check that there is no possible passage for ants, in this case, apply a few drops of glue to block their passage.
5. Check once a month that the collar is not saturated with insects.
6. Reapply glue if necessary.

• avoid the presence of tall grass or low branches, which would create passages for insects to reach the upper parts of the tree without passing through the trunk.
• Lifespan of the collar: until saturation by insects; if necessary, the collar can be reglued using the glue tube.
