Neoprene is the right material for a child: it goes on and comes off without a struggle, rinses clean under the tap, and is forgiving when the fit is not quite right. The cut is slim, with a high dressage-style curve. The pink zipper runs from top to bottom, with a snap fastener at the bottom to secure it. The silicone stars printed on the inside of the calf provide a little grip on the saddle, reassuring beginners.
