The narrow-cut rubber rein: the same grip, less bulk in the hand. Three lengths, from pony to large horse.
16 mm instead of 20: the difference is immediately noticeable if you have small hands or ride without gloves. The grip is the same—the rubber is woven into the webbing along the entire length, and five leather rein stops on each side provide reference points. The leather keeper carries the buckle on the bit side. The rein stops are small leather bridges sewn across the rein: your hand settles against them and finds its position again without having to look. The more there are, the finer the adjustment.
