Small ponies too often inherit a shortened horse girth, twice too wide for their ribcage. The Shetty Classic is cut straight and deliberately narrow, sized for a Shetland pony. The leather is softly padded to prevent chafing, and keepers hold the excess girth straps in place.

🧴 Care instructions
Remove mud and sweat with a damp cloth after every outing, then condition the leather with glycerin soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a heat source: leather that is soft but dried too quickly becomes hard and loses its suppleness.
