The dual adjustment makes all the difference with a flash noseband: it allows you to position it at the correct height on the horse's nose, regardless of the length of its head, instead of being limited by the position imposed by the bridle.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ Adjust the noseband so that two fingers fit over the nasal bone, and the throatlash so that one flat hand fits underneath. An overly tight bridle does not make a horse more stable: it prevents the horse from chewing and swallowing. ⚠️ A flash noseband must never sit on the soft part of the nostrils. Clean with glycerin soap after each use, then apply leather grease once the leather is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it will harden and crack.
