Premiere ring martingale

The running martingale limits upward head movements — those where the horse suddenly raises its nose and rein contact disappears completely. It does not act continuously: it only comes into play beyond a certain height.

This is an important distinction from a training aid: the martingale does not ask anything of the horse as long as it remains in a normal position. This one is made of leather, with an adjustable fork, a girth strap loop, and a neck strap.
