Soft leather is Kavalkade’s specialty. The girth is built around a nylon core that gives it structure, wrapped in foam that absorbs jolts, and covered with very supple leather. The result: a girth that follows the horse’s movement instead of restricting it, and that does not become stiff over time. The Comfort adds a wide chest plate in the center. Instead of concentrating pressure on a narrow band behind the elbows, it distributes it across the entire width — this makes all the difference for a horse sensitive to girthing.

🧴 Care instructions
Remove mud and sweat with a damp cloth after each ride, then condition the leather with glycerin soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a heat source: leather that is dried too quickly becomes stiff and loses its suppleness.
