Gel on one side only cushions the horse’s back but allows the saddle to slip. On both sides, it does both at once. ⚠️ A half pad cannot correct an ill-fitting saddle. If it compensates for a saddle that is too wide or too narrow, the saddle needs adjusting—not a half pad: when used incorrectly, it moves the problem instead of solving it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place the half pad on a clean, dry back, pulling it well up into the saddle’s gullet to clear the withers, then check that there are no folds under the panels. Rinse the gel with clean water and leave it to dry flat in the shade.
