Description
The Howlett training aid, also called Thiedemann, is a versatile training aid designed to provide better control of the horse's neck during ridden work. It limits excessive head elevation as well as overly forward movements, while allowing some freedom in the horse's natural position.
This training aid is a gentle alternative between German reins and the classic martingale, offering a progressive aid to the rider to encourage correct posture.
