Soft leather is Kavalkade’s specialty. The girth is built around a nylon core that gives it stability, wrapped in foam that absorbs shocks, and covered with very soft leather. The result: a girth that follows the horse’s movement rather than restricting it, and does not harden over time. This version has no elastic. The tension does not vary from one stride to the next: some riders prefer this stable contact, and some saddles with flexible trees are held more securely as a result.

🧴 Care instructions
Remove mud and sweat with a damp cloth after every ride, then condition the leather with glycerin soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a heat source: leather that dries too quickly becomes stiff and loses its softness.
