🐎 Why choose this product?
A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the other front leg may strike. It is worn during work, never in the pasture or stable: if worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it. This set takes care of all four legs at once, in the same colour and material: it is the simplest starting point for equipping a horse.
🧴 How to use
Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners positioned toward the back and facing outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the protection and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the session. Place the fetlock boots on the hind legs, with the shell covering the fetlock. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: neoprene hardens. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as these are the first part to give way.
