Product Description:

  • THE Hoof Dressing Black is a laurel ointment for the care and protection of the horse's feet.
  • Handcrafted For over 25 years, it has been made from animal fats and fresh bay leaves.
  • Nourishes and protects the hoof in depth to maintain the flexibility, elasticity and balance of the foot.
  • Prevents the wall from drying out and protects against humidity.
  • Activates horn growth for healthy and strong feet.
  • Used and recommended by all professionals of horse riding.
  • Contains a dye coming from natural ash from vine wood, slightly antiseptic.

Instructions for use:

  • Normal use:
    • Apply ointment to the feet (walls and soles) 3 to 4 times a week.
  • More intensive use when hooves are too dry:
    • Shower the foot, wipe it dry and then apply ointment.
    • Repeat this every day for 8 days.

The little story ...

I created the Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008, by opening a store in the Drôme department (In France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the region. My presence quickly expanded by being present at dressage competitions, local competitions, national and international events.

In order to meet the needs of all riders, I have developed a website, allowing everyone to access quality technical products, tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been living in the city of Orange (In France) and partner of regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer tailor-made and customizable items, and I attach great importance to the direct relationship with my customers.
