The wither cutout is what makes the difference between a pad that can be used comfortably and one that presses: without it, the edge sits directly against the bone. ⚠️ A saddle pad cannot correct a saddle that does not fit. If it compensates for a saddle that is too wide or too narrow, the saddle needs adjusting—not the addition of a pad: when used incorrectly, a pad moves the problem instead of solving it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place the pad on a clean, dry back, pulling it well up into the saddle's gullet to clear the withers, then check that there are no folds beneath the panels. Rinse the gel with clean water and leave it to dry flat in the shade.
