It is the least expensive form of protection for the horse, and the one that prevents the injury that takes the longest to heal. 🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ A bell boot that is too large will twist and be stepped on; one that is too small will rub against the coronary band. When the foot is placed on the ground, it should touch the ground at the back, but no further. Place it on a clean, dry hoof with the opening facing backward and the Velcro facing outward, so that a branch cannot open it. It should rest on the ground without pressing against the coronary band. ⚠️ Remove it after the session. Rinse with clean water after use and leave to air-dry. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fastenings: they are the first part to fail.
