Instructions for use:
- Submerge the blanket in a bucket of water until the fabric is completely saturated, then wring it out.
- If you have limited access to water, you can activate the blanket before putting it in a plastic bag and taking it with you where it is needed.
- The blanket will remain activated in this environment for the rest of the day.
- You can also pour water from a hose or water bottle onto the blanket, wring out the excess water, then put it on your horse.
- We recommend monitoring the temperature of the outside of the blanket to remove it when it has warmed up.
- It can then either be reactivated in water to be used again immediately, or left to dry.
- Precautions must be taken in humid climates and the rug should be checked more often, as moisture can affect the evaporation process in general, of the blanket or the horse's sweat.
