Half-moon cut in technical fabric: the saddle stops slipping forward.

Klimatex is a durable blended fabric designed to wick away sweat instead of retaining it. Inside, breathable three-dimensional mesh distributes pressure and traction evenly. The whole girth remains very thin and flexible. The Moon has a half-moon cut for horses that are narrow through the shoulders, short-backed and broad-ribbed, on which the saddle slips forward. It provides stability while allowing freedom of movement at the elbow. Central D-ring and elastic on both sides.

Half-moon cuts are mainly available in leather, at three times the price. In Klimatex, this is the least expensive way to test whether your horse needs one.

🧴 Care instructions

Washable at 30°C, by hand or in a machine inside a laundry bag. Dry flat, away from a heat source. Avoid fabric softener, which clogs the fibres and eliminates the wicking effect.

Composition

85% polyester, 12% stainless steel, 10% elastane, 5% flannel.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
