🐎 Why choose this product?
A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the other front leg may strike. It is worn during work, never in the pasture or stall: when worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it. This set takes care of all four legs at once, in the same color and material: it is the simplest starting point for outfitting a horse.
🧴 How to use
Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the closures toward the back and directed outward. Tighten it enough to slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the session. Fetlock boots go on the hind legs, with the shell covering the fetlock. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Check the condition of the Velcro regularly, as this is the first part to fail.
