Product Description:

  • The Hoof Dressing Black is a laurel ointment for the care and protection of the horse's hooves.
  • Handcrafted for over 25 years, it is made from animal fats and fresh laurel leaves.
  • Nourishes and protects the hoof deeply to maintain flexibility, elasticity, and balance of the foot.
  • Prevents drying of the wall and protects against moisture.
  • Stimulates horn growth for healthy and strong hooves.
  • Used and recommended by all equestrian professionals.
  • Contains a colorant derived from natural vine wood ash, slightly antiseptic.

Instructions for use:

  • Normal use:
    • Apply ointment to the hooves (wall and soles) 3 to 4 times a week.
  • More intensive use when hooves are too dry:
    • Rinse the hoof, dry it, then apply ointment.
    • Repeat this process daily for 8 days.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
