🧵 How to fit your Horseware rug

The fit of your rug is essential for your horse's comfort and to prevent rubbing or premature wear. Every horse has a different build, so it is recommended to take accurate measurements before choosing a size.

📐 Measuring points

A → B: from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulders, to the centre of the tail
C → D: from the withers to the base of the tail (back seam)

📝 Tip: once the A-B measurement has been taken, subtract 10 cm (4 inches) to determine the size to order.

Double-sided anti-pilling fleece with Newmarket stripes, breathable, which wicks away moisture for gradual drying without a chill
Petite fit designed for miniature horses: sizes 2'6" (50) to 4'0" (80)
For the stable or travel; gradual cooling after exercise
Simple front fastening, two removable crossed surcingles, tail strap: stays in place and comes off in one movement
Matching accessories (hood, boots, bag) available separately for a coordinated set

🧼 Recommended care:

Machine washable at 30 °C – close hook-and-loop fasteners, and fasten clips and straps
Air dry only, away from heat sources – do not tumble dry
Do not iron, do not use bleach

📦 Storage advice:

Once dry, fold carefully and store in a breathable bag
Keep in a cool, dry place away from moisture and sunlight
The original packaging can be used as a storage or transport bag
