Functional Ingredients

Vitamins C and E: their antioxidant effect has a twofold action: it protects muscles as well as Omega 3 fatty acids against oxidative damage such as pollution, oxygen, exercise, stress, inflammation…). Vitamins C and E help minimize muscle damage: both during exercise; and from excessive sedentary lifestyles / seniors / catabolic states.

L-carnitine: Commonly associated with a "fat-burning" effect*, it contributes to proper body condition (maintenance or increase of muscle mass). It improves recovery after exertion and helps prevent muscle damage caused by intense physical activity.

* L-carnitine transports fatty acids into mitochondria to be used as an energy source. This does not mean that L-carnitine is used for weight loss, but rather that it makes the use of fats more efficient as an energy source.
