A bridle component wears out well before the rest of the tack: the cheekpieces absorb sweat, while the crownpiece bears all the weight. Replacing it costs a fraction of the price of a new bridle.

🧴 Care instructions

⚠️ Choose the size as you would for the bridle: Pony, Cob, or Full. A piece that is too short will be adjusted to the last hole and have no adjustment range left. Clean with glycerin soap, then condition once the leather is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it becomes hard and cracks.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008, opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the region. My presence quickly expanded through participation in dressage shows, local competitions, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, giving everyone access to high-quality technical products that have been tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and have been a partner of regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer bespoke and customizable items, and I attach great importance to direct relationships with my customers.
