Satin Sense bits get their appearance from a silky coating applied to the mouthpiece, which feels pleasant on the horse’s tongue. Their curved, ergonomic shape creates extra space for the tongue and distributes pressure evenly throughout the mouth.

✨ Key benefits

  • ✔ Silky coating on the mouthpiece, pleasant on the tongue
  • ✔ Curved shape: extra space for the tongue
  • ✔ Evenly distributed pressure for precise action
  • ✔ High-quality stainless steel, designed to last

📋 Technical specifications

  • Type: loose-ring, double-jointed bit
  • Material: high-quality stainless steel, mouthpiece with a silky coating
  • Mouthpiece thickness: 16 mm
  • Sizes: 11.5 cm / 12.5 cm / 13.5 cm / 14.5 cm

🐎 Why choose this product?

With a double-jointed bit, the mouthpiece consists of three parts, and the central section lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than a single-jointed bit, but eliminates the V-shaped effect toward the palate.

🧴 Usage tips

Measure the width from one ring to the other, with the mouthpiece stretched out. ⚠️ A bit that is too narrow pinches the corners of the mouth; one that is too wide moves around in the mouth and knocks against the teeth. Allow approximately half a centimetre of mouthpiece to be visible on each side.
