This loose-ring snaffle is the snaffle bit of a double bridle, made of solid Cuprigan — a copper-rich alloy whose natural oxidation stimulates chewing and salivation. In a double-bridle setup, where a great deal is asked of the horse’s mouth, this effect is particularly important.
It has a single joint, and its anatomical shape follows the contours of the mouth to distribute pressure. Stainless steel rings.
✨ Key benefits

🐎 Why choose this product?
Single- or double-jointed: the double joint removes the angle against the palate and suits most horses; the single joint retains the characteristic closing effect and suits horses that lean on the bit. In a double bridle, where the snaffle is used alongside a second bit, the single joint remains a classic choice.
🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ The snaffle should be positioned above the curb bit, with no contact between the two. Measure the bit width before ordering. The green patina on Cuprigan is normal: rinse with clean water, without using any abrasive product.
Composition: Cuprigan, stainless steel.
