- ✔ Single joint. This mouthpiece puts less pressure on the tongue than a double-jointed one and works mainly on the bars and sides of the tongue. It is the standard mouthpiece.
- ✔ Fixed ring fitted with two small rings for the gag cheekpieces. The bit encourages the horse to raise its head. Fixed rings transmit the action more directly than a gag bit with loose rings. The pressure points are the poll and the corners of the mouth.

🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit measuring tool, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it squeezes the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ The gag cheekpiece replaces the usual bridle cheekpiece. Two reins allow you to adjust the effect. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can wear it down.
