The smooth surface of the cord is a major advantage that facilitates the sliding of the reins through the bit rings.
The section held by the rider is made of soft leather (18 mm wide).
The ends of the cords are attached to the girth by snap hooks.
The German reins are equipped with a leather girth loop with a D-ring to use if the girth does not have a ring.
The girth loop has an additional protective flap for the D-ring and a leather keeper.
The German reins feature chrome-plated brass buckles with a beautiful silver shine.
The German reins allow the rider to keep the horse’s head in the correct position.
When the horse raises its head excessively, the German reins apply pressure on the bit, pressure that disappears when the horse brings its head back to the normal height.
