Première unpadded waterproof sheet: it protects against rain and wind. The outer fabric is 600D ripstop polyester with a waterproof coating and heat-sealed seams. The lining is 260 g fleece, with 190T nylon at the chest, lower section, and tail flap. Zinc hardware with a chrome finish.
The fixed neck cover closes with three Velcro fastenings.

🐎 Why choose this product?
A neck cover protects the area left uncovered by the sheet: the neck and head opening, where rain gets in first. A waterproof sheet is not a cold-weather blanket: without padding, it keeps out rain and wind but does not provide warmth. That is what an unclipped horse living outdoors needs — it keeps its coat for warmth, while the sheet prevents it from getting soaked. ⚠️ A clipped horse or a horse exposed to very cold weather needs padding.
🧴 Care instructions
Brush the sheet while dry rather than washing it too often: every wash wears down the waterproof coating. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener, as it clogs the breathable membrane. After a few seasons, a re-waterproofing product for technical textiles will restore its water repellency. ⚠️ The stated size is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine. A sheet that is too short pulls on the shoulders and rubs the withers; one that is too long shifts around and can cause the horse to catch its feet in it.
