A broken belly strap can make a rug unusable even when the fabric is intact. Two new straps put it back into service.
🧴 Care instructions
Fasten all the hook-and-loop closures and place the rug in a sturdy laundry bag: without one, the hardware bangs against the drum, comes undone and rusts. Wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, using a detergent specially designed for outdoor rugs. Do not re-waterproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which water-repellent products can damage. Once a year, a specialist cleaner can take care of the rest.
