Exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH) is a common phenomenon in racehorses, caused by the rupture of pulmonary capillaries due to pressure during exertion. XANTEX was developed to support the integrity of these capillaries and preserve lung function in athletic horses.
