The neck and head are the areas most targeted by flies, and the ones left uncovered by a simple sheet. Here, the neck is covered and the mask attaches to it, so the whole setup stays in place without leaving any gaps. A fly sheet creates a physical barrier between the insect and the skin: it is the only protection that does not evaporate or wash off in the rain, unlike repellents. For a horse that is sensitive to bites or prone to sweet itch, it can transform the summer.
🧴 Care instructions
The mesh can be machine-washed at a low temperature, inside out to protect the fabric. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener or tumble-dry: the fibers may become misshapen. Air-dry. ⚠️ For a sheet, the indicated size is the back length: measure from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine.
