A 1200-denier ripstop turnout blanket with 100 g filling and a double hook fastening at the chest, reinforced with Velcro.
The 1200-denier ripstop fabric withstands 4,000 mm of water pressure and has a breathability rating of 3,000 g/m² over 24 hours. The blanket is made without a back seam and features an advanced wither design: it is approximately 10 cm longer than the horse’s back by design, so it sits in front of the withers, covers the shoulder and does not slip backward when the horse lowers its head. The Montreal accommodates leg straps, has a low-set tail strap and a large tail flap, crossed surcingles with elastic inserts, a smooth lining and loops for attaching the matching neck cover. At the chest, there are two swivel hooks reinforced with Velcro.

🧴 Care instructions
Fasten all Velcro closures and place the blanket in a sturdy laundry bag: without one, the hardware bangs against the drum, opens and rusts. Wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, using a special detergent for outdoor blankets. Do not re-waterproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which water-repellent products can damage. Once a year, a specialist dry cleaner can take care of the rest.
Composition
70% polyester, 20% metal (hardware), 10% polypropylene.
