⚠️ This model and reference 746127 have the same 10 mm pointed head: they differ in total length, 16 mm here compared with 13 mm. The extra 3 mm provide additional grip when the ground is particularly hard. W3/8 thread, the most widely used Whitworth thread size on tapped horseshoes in Europe. ⚠️ It is not compatible with an M12 tapped horseshoe: check the thread pitch of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Usage tips
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty hole can damage the horseshoe thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs as soon as the competition is over and plug the stud holes: a horse that remains shod with studs in its stall, pasture, or trailer may injure itself when lying down or moving around.
