🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Choose based on the ground, not habit: for hard, dry ground, use a thinner stud; for wet or deep ground, use a thicker stud. Outer studs must be the same length as the inner ones, or no more than 0.5 cm longer — beyond that, the hoof will land unevenly. Clean the hole with a stud-hole pick and run the tap through it again before screwing in the stud: a dirty thread damages both the stud and the horseshoe. Remove the studs as soon as the event is over; never transport or stable the horse with them fitted.
