Use
- The Protecta mosquito trap is 100% natural
- requires no chemicals nor electricity and has no smell.
- Drawn by the water in the container, the first mosquitoes enter the trap and are caught by the sticky ring. They do not die immediately but their capture causes them to release pheromones that attract other nearby mosquitoes who also become trapped.
- When the ring is saturated with insects or if a mosquito lands directly on the mesh in contact with the water, it may lay eggs through the mesh. But the mosquito larvae will never reach maturity and will quickly die, trapped by the mesh.
- Note that the trap needs a few days in place in the area to be protected before it works fully
Application method:
• Fill the tank with 600 ml of water.
• Take the mesh float, white side down, and place the sticky plastic ring on top, with the black part sticky side up.
• Place the float in the tank white side down, against the water.
• Place the funnel in the tank, narrow end down, then screw the lid onto the top of the tank.
• Place the trap in the areas to be protected and especially in damp areas
Trap maintenance
- When the sticky ring is saturated with insects or dust, it can be replaced.
- The mesh can be cleaned with water.
- Remember to check the water level regularly
