LeMieux Vector Balance Stirrup

A new generation of stirrup: technical and lightweight, without compromising the classic LeMieux style. The Balance stirrup’s ergonomic footbed is angled at 5°, with a non-slip surface featuring hardened steel studs to keep the heels down and stabilize the leg.

Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, they offer an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, weighing just 419 g per stirrup without compromising stability. A dual-arch system distributes weight evenly across the entire stirrup base. The frame apex is offset and recessed, encouraging 45° external rotation to help find the optimal foot angle and retrieve a lost stirrup.

The integrated articulated arm features a two-stage release system that prevents accidental opening: under maximum pressure, such as when landing after a jump, the rider’s weight is distributed evenly, while pressure on the arm releases the foot to reduce the risk of being dragged. The measured release force is 36 N (approximately 3.62 kg), enough to prevent unintentional opening while releasing when necessary. Legal for competition (FEI, British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping).
