🐎 Why choose this product?
The rigid shell is what distinguishes a competition tendon boot from a simple soft shell: it distributes the impact instead of letting it pass through. A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the other front leg may strike. It should be worn during work, never in the field or stall: when worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it.
🧴 Directions for use
⚠️ The sizes are not determined as usual: S for pony front legs, M for pony hind legs and horse front legs, L for horse hind legs. Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners toward the back and facing outward. Tighten it enough to slide one finger between the protection and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as these are the first components to fail.
