The oiled leather in the Foster series is nourished with vegetable oils from the tanning stage: the pores open and the oil penetrates deeply through several layers. The leather remains supple for years, does not dry out, and develops the subtly distinctive patina seen especially on the brown version. The Julius in oiled leather is designed for stability: its anatomical cut gives the elbow plenty of room, while its particularly well-designed girth-strap guidance prevents the straps from twisting or riding up beneath the flap.

🧴 Care instructions
Wipe with a cloth after each use and condition with a suitable nourishing leather product, обязательно before the first ride and then regularly. Oiled leather that is allowed to dry out loses what makes it valuable. Be careful during the first few weeks: the oil may bleed onto a light-coloured saddle pad or white breeches.
