Wide chest plate, clear sides, snap hook: the Julius without elastic.

The Julius is designed for pressure distribution: a wide chest plate in the center, a broader support area that relieves sensitive zones, and sides set slightly farther back to free the elbows. Kavalkade’s supple leather does the rest — it conforms to the horse’s body without ever becoming stiff. Elastic-free version, with snap-hook fastening.

🧴 Care instructions

Remove mud and sweat with a damp cloth after each ride, then condition the leather with glycerin soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a heat source: supple leather that dries too quickly becomes stiff and loses its softness.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
