This BR turnout rug is equipped with the Z3 heat control system, which distributes heat efficiently for a lower overall weight. Its detachable neck cover attaches with a dedicated hook-and-loop fastening system.
The outer fabric is 1200D ripstop polyester with a waterproof coating and heat-sealed seams; the lining is antistatic 190T nylon (tail, neck cover, chest and lower section). Chrome-plated zinc hardware.

Brush the rug when dry rather than washing it too often: each wash damages the waterproof coating. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener, as it clogs the breathable membrane. After a few seasons, a reproofing product for technical fabrics can restore water repellency. ⚠️ The stated size is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail along the spine. A rug that is too short pulls on the shoulders and rubs the withers; one that is too long shifts around and the horse may catch its feet in it.
