The principle of hunter reins: leather on the outside, rubber on the inside. They retain the look of leather on the visible side and the grip of rubber on the hand side. This is the most common solution for riding in the rain without losing your reins.

This model is 16 mm wide, with leather stops and hook closures.

✨ Key features

  • ✔ Rubber inner side: the reins no longer slip between your fingers in the rain
  • ✔ Leather outer side: they retain the look of a leather rein
  • ✔ Leather stops: compatible with ring martingales and breastplates
  • ✔ Hook closures, for changing bits in one second

📋 Technical specifications

  • Type: hunter reins, leather outer side and rubber inner side
  • Width: 16 mm
  • Leather stops
  • Closure: hook closures

🐎 Why choose this product?

A slipping hand tenses up, and a tense hand makes the contact harsher: a grip problem quickly becomes a mouth problem. Hunter reins are the classic compromise, preferable to all-rubber reins when competing and wanting to retain the look of leather.

🧴 Care instructions

⚠️ Never grease the rubber section: it would lose its grip. Clean it with clean water and a soft brush, and clean the outer leather with glycerin soap. With a martingale, position the stops approximately 30 cm from the bit buckles.

Composition: leather, rubber, metal.
