Halifax 2-in-1 outdoor and walker rug, 200 g

The Halifax 2-in-1 in its winter version: 200 g of fill, while still allowing a simple switch from paddock to walker by changing the chest strap.

The principle remains the same: replace the chest strap and the turnout rug becomes a walker rug, with two fastening positions, the lower one for narrower horses. The shoulder remains open, allowing the horse freedom of movement both on the track and in the paddock. 1200-denier ripstop fabric, 4,000 mm water column, breathability of 3,000 g/m² over 24 hours. Anatomical back with a forward-cut withers section, lowered sides, low tail strap edged with PVC, large tail flap, padded withers, smooth lining.

🧴 Care instructions

Fasten all the hook-and-loop closures and place the rug in a thick laundry bag: without one, the hardware hits the drum, opens and rusts. Wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, using a special detergent for turnout rugs. Do not reproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which water-repellent products can damage. Once a year, a specialist cleaner can take care of the rest.
