An integrated shell, rather than an attached one, does not come loose or create an edge under the leather: that is what sets a durable boot apart. A boot protects the inside of the cannon bone and fetlock, where the other limb can strike when the horse brushes against itself or turns sharply. It should be worn while working, not in the pasture or stall: when worn continuously, it makes the limb sweat instead of protecting it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place it on a clean, dry limb, with the shell facing outward and the closures directed toward the back and outward. Fasten it so that you can slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and air-dry, never on a radiator. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as they are the first component to fail.
