The Breathe’s rigid shell and ventilation slots, in a short design that covers the hind fetlock.
A fetlock boot has a specific purpose: to absorb the impact caused by the hind leg striking itself during a canter or on landing after a jump. The shell combines a flexible section with a reinforced section, allowing it to follow the joint while remaining hard where the impact occurs. The ventilation slots prevent heat from building up beneath the plastic. The interior is padded with an elastic material that cushions and conforms to the fetlock, while the anatomical cut allows the joint to move freely.
