The fetlock boot has one specific purpose: to prevent the hind leg from striking the inside of the fetlock — the area where impact injuries are most common and take the longest to heal.
It combines a hard outer shell for protection against impacts with a breathable Air Liner lining that absorbs shocks and prevents rubbing.
✨ Key features
- ✔ Targeted protection for the inside of the fetlock, where impact injuries occur
- ✔ Hard outer shell to protect against impacts from the foreleg or hind leg
- ✔ Breathable Air Liner lining that absorbs shocks without rubbing
- ✔ Design developed through research into limb biomechanics
📋 Technical specifications

- Shell: hard outer shell
🐎 Why choose this product?
Fetlock boots are worn on the hind legs, in addition to tendon boots on the forelegs: these are two different types of protection for two different risks. A horse that strikes its hind legs needs both, not one or the other.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ Make sure the shell properly covers the inside of the fetlock, on the side opposite the adjacent limb. Remove the boots as soon as exercise is finished. Rinse with clean water and dry flat away from any heat source.
Composition: synthetic shell, Air Liner lining, Velcro.
