🐎 Why choose this product?
A shortened horse saddle pad is not suitable for a pony: it extends beyond the panels and creases. The Shetland and Pony sizes are cut specifically for them.
🧴 Care instructions
Pull the pad up into the saddle's gullet before tightening the girth, to clear the withers: a pad pulled tight over the spinal processes presses exactly where it should not. Brush it dry after each ride and wash it regularly — it is the salt from perspiration, not the fabric, that irritates the skin. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibres that regulate moisture.
