For a horse with a short, thick poll, the E shape provides the most relief because it frees up space toward the back rather than on the sides. For very closely set ears, a crescent-shaped cutout will be more suitable. Your horse's anatomy should guide your choice, not the advertised comfort.
🧴 Care and use instructions
Once the crownpiece is in place, check that no edge touches the base of the ears. Adjust both sides to the same hole whenever possible: that is the whole point of a symmetrical model. Clean with glycerin soap, then apply leather grease.
