⚠️ This model and reference 746128 have the same 10 mm pointed head; they differ in total length: 13 mm here versus 16 mm. A short stud is less noticeable under the hoof and is sufficient on simply dry ground. W3/8 thread, the most widely used Whitworth thread for tapped horseshoes in Europe. ⚠️ It is not compatible with an M12 tapped horseshoe: check the thread of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Usage tips
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty hole damages the horseshoe thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs as soon as the event is over and plug the stud holes: a horse that remains shod with studs in its stall, pasture, or trailer may injure itself when lying down or moving around.
