Cork has long been a credible alternative to leather outside the equestrian world; it is only just making its way into it. “Cortica” is one of the first bridles made from cork, following nearly two years of development and testing. Its combined English noseband is supported by an anatomical headpiece; both the headpiece and noseband are lined with soft synthetic leather. The bridle can be adjusted on both sides, and its lower noseband is removable. A light-colored trim runs along the noseband, while the browband is set with large rhinestones. Supplied without reins; the entire “Cortica” collection—including reins, breastcollar, browbands, chaps, and boots—is available in the catalog.
