The Cortica belongs to Kavalkade’s vegan collection, developed over nearly two years around a single material: cork fabric. Made from cork oak bark, harvested by hand without cutting down the tree and then bonded to a textile backing, it can be worked like leather—tear-resistant and water-repellent—but is maintained with clean water. Each piece has its own grain.
