An integrated shell, rather than an attached one, does not come unstuck or create an edge beneath the leather: that is what sets a boot that lasts apart. A boot protects the inside of the cannon bone and fetlock, where the opposite limb can strike when the horse crosses its legs or turns sharply. It is designed to be worn during work, not in the pasture or stall: if worn continuously, it makes the limb sweat instead of protecting it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place it on a clean, dry limb, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners directed toward the rear and outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as they are the first part to give way.
